YCI to showcase DCV2012A, High Speed Double Column Machining Center at Westec 2009

YCI will showcase high speed, high precision double column vertical machining center, DCV2012A. The DCV2012A is the best machining center for both heavy cutting and high precision application.

The DCV2012A offers 78.7” x 47.2” x 23.6” travel for X, Y, Z-Axis respectively. Equipped with standard 20,000rpm spindle with High/Low Electronic shifting to provide 30hp maximum output. The IDD spindle provided low spindle vibration at high spindle speed that increased tool life, while the oil-air mist lubrication system prolongs the life of the spindle at high cutting speed for extended running time. DCV2012A has more than enough power for heavy metal removal in aerospace, automotive, and energy industry, and the ultra high spindle speed and precision finish needed for die mold and medical application. |
The DCV2012A is designed with oversized roller type guideways on X, Y, & Z-axis has box ways for fast axial respond while providing optimal machining accuracy without sacrificing its cutting rigidity. The unique design of DCV2012A Y-Axis is fully supported in all 3 directions to enhances the cutting rigidity necessary when the spindle is fully extended to the table. One piece column with 4 slide blocks support on Y-Axis and 6 slide blocks on Z-axis will ensure the best possible structure support. The structure of DCV2012A is simulated through FEM analysis to achieve to optimal rigidity for all machining direction. To assure operating efficiency, the DCV2012A is equipped with 24T swing-arm type ATC system for quick tool change and double spiral type chip conveyor system to automatically discharge the metal chips to centralized area.
