New CNC Turning Center Features High-Speed 3,500 RPM Spindle and Servo-Driven Turret

YCI, Inc., a leading manufacturer of CNC machine tools, has introduced its new TC-25A CNC turning center. The machine's high torque, 3,500RPM spindle offers a minimum noise level and easy maintenance, making it ideal for a wide range of turning requirements. The powerful 20 HP spindle deploys high-precision angular contact ball bearings of NN series rollers that provides superior cutting rigidity.
The TC-25A's high-strength, 30-degree slant bed is a one-piece MEEHANITE® cast base that sustains highly rigid and heavy cutting. The X- and Z-axes are a fully integrated box guide way with Turcite-B coating, providing a rapid feed rate of 945 ipm in the X-axis and 1181 ipm in the Z-axis. A Z-axis safety clutch is included as a standard feature to protect the ballscrew in case of machine crash.

The TC-25A also features a high-speed, 12-station, servo-driven turret. The turret is designed with precision coupling to achieve maximum accuracy in tool position and rigidity. Station-to-station tool indexing time is a fast 0.4 seconds. The machine has a compact footprint (97" x 70" x 77"), which includes a chip conveyor, to economize floor space. Additional features include a swivel-designed control panel, 40-gallon high-capacity coolant system, automatic lubrication system, built-in work light, and coolant gun and air nozzle. |
